Youths Take Cannon For Joy Ride In Funkstown
Four Hagerstown Junior College students were fined 50 dollars each plus costs for malicious destruction of property after a prank with a WWII cannon. They towed the memorial piece for about a quarter mile on U S 40 A before ditching it, damaging wheels, missing ramrod, and causing a brief chase that ended when their car crashed into a tree.
