Frederick Santa Claus Returns to Frederick Charities
Ed Winpigler, longtime host of Frederick Christmas gift joy, again plays Santa Claus at private homes, churches, and company parties. The 270 pound, five foot craftsman delivers cheer for 12 years without pay, supplying his own suit and fuel, visiting 65 to 70 children at Moose party and over 100 more across town on Christmas Eve. He juggles a trucking business with eight trucks and a new excavating venture while balancing 13 children at home.
