Survivor thanks God after deadly Arkansas tornado
WEST MEMPHIS Ark survivors describe the aftermath of Monday night’s twister with prayers and resolve. Alberdean Jenkins and Tesse Colbert recount narrowly escaping, while Holly Zimmerman recalls rescuing her son Trey as the ruin of homes and belongings spread across South 16th and South 10th streets. Neighbors aid one another, looters are deterred by daylight, and families scramble for shelter and apartments as they begin to rebuild. The Zimmerman family saved keepsake albums and a wheelchair, emphasizing the emotional cost and endurance in the wake of disaster.
