Unidentified charred truck cab victim found in Frederick

Judge Hyatt Indicted for Misconduct in Office
Rockville Maryland District Court Judge Jerry Hyatt a Damascus former delegate to the General Assembly was indicted Thursday for misconduct in office and obstruction of justice. The charges arise from a traffic case involving a friend and former clerk's office employee with the case sent to the county grand jury by the Maryland Special Prosecutor's office due to possible conflicts. Hyatt undergoing major surgery in September has not returned to the bench. his attorney says the indictment is merely an accusation and vows an immediate trial in Montgomery County to restore public confidence. A separate late night crash near U.S. 40-4 left Ross Alan Kilpatrick 27 of Sharpsburg charged with driving while intoxicated and negligent driving after his Toyota flipped multiple times and landed upright. he was treated and released from Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Woman to serve six years in jail for 7-Eleven robberies
Debra Kay Marshall, a Germantown woman, was sentenced to 14 years with eight years suspended and five years probation for using a plastic handgun to rob two Frederick County 7-Eleven stores on Oct. 23, 1986. Time served credited toward a six-year unsuspended term starting Oct. 23. Her brother Anthony Marshall drove the getaway car and is serving 12 years.
