The Editor argues from a stockholder perspective about the Frederick County Agricultural Society and its annual meeting. It notes 193 ballots were cast by proxy from under 50 attendees with three men handling most votes and questions proxy reflection versus individual choice, likening it to corporate shares and absentee ballots in government elections. It urges members to consider the practice.
