John Knew Of Accusations In East West German Case
Bonn report says former West German Counterespionage chief Otto John faces possible treason charges after his 1954 flight and return from the East. A government spokesman notes no formal charges yet. John is to be questioned for days. He describes captivity in Moscow and Crimea and alleges East German and Soviet handling.

Denied New Trial In Embezzlement Case
Salisbury December 14 1931 Dic 14 WU Disharoon 31 was denied a new trial today and sentenced to nine years in the Warvind Penitentiary for embezzlement of a sum. At the same time his wife Norma 27 was freed on a charge of 34an.

Dishatoon, once a partner at a Salisbury automobile firm, was convicted by a circuit Court jury last September for embezzling money and three cars from the agency. He claimed the funds and cars were given by James B. Adkins in return for his stock. The Disharoons were captured by the FBI in Wisconsin in November 1954 and brought to trial after being missing since January 1951. The court denied a new trial and sentenced Disharoon while on probation in Wisconsin for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
