Myers seek zoning change for Ross House inn plan
William and Aldrea Myer plan a four bedroom inn at the historic Ross House 105 Council St Frederick after applying for a zoning certificate. Neighbors oppose the proposal citing neighborhood impact and have hired an attorney. The city appeals board outlined conditions including written agreement, inspections, four parking spaces and guest rooms, no catering or parties, a full time innkeeper, and restoration of outbuildings before operation. City planner Richard Griffin says the ball remains with the Myers to meet conditions and move forward. The Myers could not be reached for comment.
