He is held on $50,000 bond at Frederick County Adult Detention Center. charges include possession with intent to distribute PCP and marijuana, possession of PCP and crack cocaine, and driving while revoked and in a rental car violation. In Deaths Road, the James W. Brigham home sustained roughly $20,000 in damage. no injuries were reported and the Brighams planned to live with relatives. The third fire on Wigville Road near Thurmont displaced a seven-member family after an 8 year-old boy’s cigarette lighter caused a two story wood frame farmhouse fire. the home suffered about $20,000 damage and a resident received smoke inhalation treatment. investigators pledged to review the case as a minor was involved and Red Cross aid was provided.

Va. man's 18-wheeler robbed and hijacked
A 66-year-old Virginia man, Arnold Lee Hanks of Cana, reported his 18-wheeler robbed and hijacked starting about 2:30 a.m. at a Route 79 rest stop in Pennsylvania and ending about 4:30 a.m. at the I-70 Truck Stop in Frederick. Two assailants gagged and tied him, damaged the cab, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before the truck was abandoned. Police were alerted at 12:36 p.m. and the investigation continues.
