Tidewater Fisheries Group weighs director post
At Annapolis on December 13 PR Chairman Arthur H. Brice said he doubts the need for a Tidewater Fisheries Department director. The Advisory Committee urged immediate appointment of a director, backing G Francis Beaven for the $36,240 position, while Beaven himself abstained from the vote. Brice questioned the director’s executive role while Gov. McKeldin weighs the proposal.
