A report from Tsingteh says three month old Helen Priscilla Stam, daughter of murdered American missionaries J. C. Stam and wife, has been found alive and is en route to Wuhu. Government troops pursue bandits who raided Tsingteh and killed the parents. Rev. George Birch of the China Inland Mission is said to be escorting the infant to safety. Health of the child not yet known.

Baltimore December 14 AP An 18 year old negro arrested early today confessed he was the companion of William Jackson another negro killed during an armored truck robbery attempt. The youth Howard Chism named Jackson and said they were together when a bandit shouted let him have it. Jackson shot Reid the truck guard, Jackson fell dead from a head wound.

Charles C. Ridgely Dies at Mercy Villa at 75
Charles C. Ridgely, 75, died after a two month illness at Mercy Villa. A longtime Frederick County resident with extensive business holdings, he moved to Baltimore about ten years ago as his health declined. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. tomorrow at Dr Irvin Ridgely’s home in Baltimore, with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.

Child's Slayer Captured After Six-Year Hunt
New York police report Albert H. Fisch, 65, father of six, confessed to kidnapping Grace Budd in 1928 and leading officers to a Westchester woods burial site. Son on Trial for Slaying Father in Maryland County
Lowell Hash, 22, farm worker, stood trial in Circuit Court for murdering his father Edgar J. Hash, 44, at the Hash farm near Quince Orchard. Prosecutors said an altercation during barn mulling in June ended with Hash striking his father on the head with a metal pipe, causing death that night.
