Milk Truck Collides With Hagerstown and Frederick Train
A milk truck struck a Hagerstown and Frederick Railway freight motor car at Route 15 Lewistown this morning causing a fire and explosions that wrecked the motor car and blocked the Gettysburg highway and Thurmont line. Motorman Raymond Linton was hospitalized with minor injuries and other crew escaped. The crash halted traffic while railway lines were repaired and fuel and hay cars burned. Repairs were underway with traffic rerouted. the loss value cited near fifteen thousand dollars.
