Four Day Mobile Blood Drive Planned for March in Frederick County
The Frederick County Blood Donor committee has scheduled a four day visit by the mobile unit for March. It followed a November drive that collected 466 pints with 334 pints in Frederick and 132 in Brunswick. The Brunswick Rotary Club sponsored the Brunswick stop at the First Methodist church with Red Cross staff from Frederick assisting. A member of the Blood Donor Gallon Club was Sgt Hilles McBeth of the Women's Army Corps. The team will return to Mt Saint Mary’s College Emmitsburg next Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to collect blood from Navy V-12 and V-5 cadets students and seminarians, with Lieut Robert J McNeil and Baltimore nurses assisting.
