Veteran Chicago educator Ella Young Flagg retires after 63 years in public education. At 71 she served the last decades as superintendent of Chicago public schools, leaving a marked imprint on the city's schooling system.
The report states Anglo-French forces have evacuated Serbia. Bulgarian irregulars invaded Greece to cut the railway, while Greek authorities with the Allies sought measures to counter them.
