Union must repay theft loss to Local 842 UAW CIO
In Hagerstown a Washington County Circuit Court jury ruled that Potomac Insurance Co of Washington must reimburse Local 842 of the UAW CIO $5,050 for cash stolen from the union headquarters last December 6 1954. The insurer had denied liability citing no evidence of forcible entry.
