Home Talent Show to Feature Large Mixed Chorus
The M M C A home talent benefit at the City Opera House Friday December 15 will feature a large mixed chorus group with 16 to 15 year old boys and girls. Songs include The Blue Danube Blues Tel Me Little Gypsy The Gypsy Trail Say it With Music and Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. Special dances and costume changes accompany each number as The Modern Gypsy promises a fast paced local musical comedy.

Two to be tried on liquor charge
Greenbury Eyler of near Liberty and Charles Coates of Liberty were arrested by Deputy Sheriff Harry Dordus of Woodsboro on a bootlegging charge. They face a hearing at 2 this afternoon before Grahame Johnson. Eyler had previous alcohol related trouble. Coates is charged for the first time. Evidence includes two half pints wine and whiskey. Frederick Scouts Rise With New Council and Troops
Frederick shows renewed scout activity with five active troops and two forming, under a 393-member Scout Council formed in August 1921. The American Legion plans a troop, though no scoutmaster is yet procured. The Court of Honor handles merit badge exams with members including Dr. Crist and Irving Landauer. The first Frederick scout troop was started by the M C A in 1912 with Harry Zeigler as scoutmaster.

Hagerstown and Frederick Railway completes Myersville track upgrade
The Hagerstown and Frederick Railway Company relaid about half a mile of track at Myersville, finishing the main line improvement for the year.
