Henry D Flood Dies in Washington at 66
Henry D Flood Democrat of the Tenth Virginia District died at his home in Washington from heart disease after weeks of illness. He was completing his eleventh term and chaired the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Flood lived in Appomattoxa and married Anna Porter in 1914. He led Virginia Democratic efforts and served in the state legislature before Congress. The House adjourned to honor him.
