Jefferson man thanks for Thanksgiving kidney transplant
Jefferson man Joseph Williams 58 at University of Maryland Medical Center received a Thanksgiving kidney transplant after two hours of dialysis and a rapid donor match from Georgia. The operation ends his dialysis dependence, with anti rejection drugs for life, and he plans to return home this week and resume work in Buckeystown.
