Homewood auxiliary board reports November meeting
Homewood at Crumland Farms Auxiliary Board held its November meeting with Betty Wise presiding. Treasurer Frances Ahal reported a Fall Bazaar profit of 3326.15 and a critique offering improvements for next year. Membership chair Phyllis Smith announced 222 memberships, including 40 Homewood residents, and Elisabeth Kefauver will order poinsettias for Slayman Chapel. By-laws were updated including name change and president-elect elimination. A wish list seeks 150 for Operation Santa Claus and 500 for Christmas decorations. The Helen Smith painting sold for 1025 with proceeds to benefit the Van Fund. The painting remains in Frederick for a private collection. Next meeting is Jan. 23 at Homewood.
