Jamestown Tops Housing Affordability in July September Region
The National Association of Home Minders reports Jamestown New York had the most affordable housing among 174 metro markets in the July September quarter. San Francisco remains the least affordable, with a median home price of 269000 and 61.2 percent of local median income needed to buy, while Jamestown’s median price was 55000 and buyers could purchase 84.7 percent of homes.
