Hagerstown man hurt as truck overturns on ramp

A 29-year-old Hagerstown man, Michael Wayne O'Haver, was listed in fair condition at Washington County Hospital after his 1994 Mack tractor trailer overturned on an exit ramp from eastbound to Maryland Route 40. He suffered neck and face injuries and was to undergo surgery. The single-vehicle crash closed the ramp for about three hours. the load included three concrete pipe sections and the truck was owned by L. Rhoton Inc. of Williamsport.

Teen arrested for graffiti in Frederick County

A one year old Frederick County boy admitted to graffiti acts after talking with a city police officer on November 12. Detective Seire linked six signs defaced on Reich's Ford Road to the youth's backpack. He was charged with six counts of destruction of property under 300 dollars and released to his father for juvenile action.

Man Arrested After Speeding Stop in Brunswick

A Keedysville man, Christopher Joseph Schwartz, was stopped for speeding on West Potomac Street, clocked at 54 mph in a 40 mph zone, and arrested on marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges after a K-9 search. He was released on his own recognizance.

The forecast calls for tonight clear to partly cloudy with lows in the mid 20s and light winds. Thursday brings clouds and a 50 percent chance of rain or mixed wet snow, highs near 40, with lighter southeast winds. Young man arrested for shoplifting jeans in mall

A 20 year old Frederick man, Kilo Del Cid of Elmwood Terrace Apartments, was charged with theft under 300 after allegedly leaving J C Penney with jeans at Frederick Towne Mall. Officer Forder responded to the shoplifting report. Del Cid was found wearing the jeans and another pair of pants. He remained in Frederick County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $100 bail.
