Dog Free After Trap Mishap Near Woodsboro Cemetery
Jan Coffman of Woodsboro raced to free her four year old dog Tuffy from a smooth double spring trap near Mount Hope Cemetery. Volunteers at a gas station and local veterinary team assisted before Dr. M Poffenbarger treated the paw. Animal Control and DNR officials outlined safe trap removal rules and noted trapping seasons for beaver otter raccoon possum fox muskrat and mink with 150 feet setback rules and 24 hour checks.
