He hauled a hawser aboard and secured the vessel as the Adder rolled and submerged beneath heavy seas. The Moccasin lies ashore at Cantuck slightly damaged and leaking. The Peora departed for Currituck to aid the Yannton and Vixen in floating the Moccasin which rests high on the beach.
