Funk Tells Delay In I-70 Plans
John B Funk, chairman of the State Roads Commission, said I-70 from Fresnick to Hagerstown will not be completed by 1967. He announced the project may open November 15, 1968 and noted bids next spring for dualization on US 4 east of Hagerstown for 2.5 miles. The US 40 dual is slated for 1966 completion at about 1.047 million dollars.
