Rental and benefit payments under the agricultural adjustment program totaled 1,406,677 for Maryland as of November 1, with 1,145,513 for wheat reduction and 222,874 for corn hogs. Frederick County led Maryland with 237,924, followed by Queen Annes 162,063, Carroll 136,940, Harford 155,600, and Talbot 109,314. Alleged dizzy driver freed but pal gets 3 mos
Charges of assault with attempt to rape against Oscar Miller beer garden operator and Thomas Watkins were continued in Peoples Court before Justice Alton Bennett.
