Bus Truck Collision Kills Six In Levy County

A school bus carrying 19 students and unknown number of adults collided with a rock-hauling tractor-trailer at a rural intersection southwest of Gainesville. Six people died. about 20 injured, including every child aboard. Five children and one adult flown to Alachua General Hospital. victims in intensive care or awaiting surgery.

Libyan claim of recapture at Aouzou meets Chad denial

Santoni sentenced in Md drug case

Former Maryland delegate George J. Santoni was sentenced to eight years in prison for cocaine possession with intent to distribute in an interstate drug conspiracy tied to an alleged New Jersey organized crime family. A five year special parole term will follow. Santoni, 48, of Cockeysville, once represented East Baltimore, pleaded guilty April 27.
