Rochester physician Dr George Waldron and three Rochester area women aged 65 or more died in a collision between their car and a Rochester and Eastern trolley near Canandaigua New York. Witnesses say the auto slowed for the trolley then started across tracks and was struck. The bodies were reported crushed and ejected. Springfield Mass Aug 29 Hugh Kane a Ludlow milkman was held up robbed and murdered by a highwayman on the road from South Hadley to Ludlow in broad daylight. His horse brought him home as police from Springfield Chicopee Holyoke and Ludlow scour the plains around Ludlow for the killer.
