Smith Family Holds Thirtieth Annual Reunion At Jefferson
The late Samuel I and Catherine Lighter Smith family held their thirtieth annual reunion on Sunday August 15 at the Jefferson Community Center with 160 attendees. A picnic lunch, business meeting, a child program led by Marie and Amanda Smith, recitations by Donna and others, and games followed. Gifts honored the longest distance, the longest married couple, and youngest child, with closing songs by Mary F Limon. The 1972 reunion is planned for the tire Sunday in August at Farmers Please Woods Petersville with a basket lunch at 12:30.
