Two Jailed On Assault Charges

Two local men were jailed here Thursday by City Police on warrants charging assault and battery. George William Stone 327 West Patrick street was jailed after a disorderly conduct charge and assault and battery warrant. Harold L Yontz 232 Queen street jailed on assault and battery warrant in lieu of bond. Thomas Arthur Dean Walkersville charged with reckless driving. George Kintz 76 was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital after an incident at a local grocery store. Michigan has 36350 miles of streams about half trout waters.

Camp Detrick News Highlights Public Affairs Speech

Boy Aged 15 Held For Slaying Girl

SACO Maine Aug 25 a 15 year old Fortunat Michaud held without bail on a murder charge in the death of 11 year old Doris Trudeau found in woods behind a factory. The suspect, in a toy balloon dispute, denied knowledge of the girl's whereabouts for hours before the body was located. Rape was considered by the medical examiner though Michaud denied sexual assault. The case was continued for counsel.
