Citizens Soldiers of 3th Engineer Company in Camp
A Maryland reserve unit from the 797th Engineer Company trained at Fort Belvoir Virginia. Soldiers practiced basic weapons, Panel bridge techniques, and Bailey bridge work, then set up field operations and defenses. The two week encampment included simulated combat, and leisure activities in digs and sightseeing near Alexandria and Washington.
