Milk Truck Slips On Jefferson Pike Spill Near Frederick
A wet road and a broken gear caused two Jefferson Pike truck crashes. Paul Shank of Middletown had a slight head injury, his milk truck overturned near William Magaha’s home spilling 40 gallons of milk. The truck, owned by Clarence Dye, was driven toward Frederick and brought to a Chevrolet garage. Earlier, Steiner's Hill saw a twelve ton canned goods truck topple an embankment after a broken gear with no injuries.

High School Alumni Band To Give Concert
Arrangements were completed for Frederick High School Alumni Band to present a concert Thursday evening in Baker park starting at 7 30. Directed by Prof. S Fenton Harris, the program repeats last February 8 in the high school auditorium with one exception. The set includes Semper Fidelis, Sousay Intermezzo, Le Secret, The Bells of St Marys with chimes by H David Hagan, A Hunting Scene, Victor Alerhert Favorites, Washington Grays, and The Star Spangled Banner, conducted by a committee led by Sperry N Storm.
