Permits Released for Eleven County Homes and Farm Building

The Assessment Office released eleven county permits on Friday with state and county approvals. Two brick homes on Canterbury Drive in Tulip Hill for Beauford Oden. a $15 000 frame residence on Md 28 near Park Mills Road for Louis C Stevenson. an $8 000 brick home on Md 153 in Mountain View Estates for Leslie I Morgan. plus a farm home shed and barn and two unvalued homes.

Fires Cause Damage at Multiple Frederick Area Homes

A series of fires damaged properties including a brick veneer home on Canterbury Drive Tulip Hill for Melvin Oden and a frame residence on Main's Lane for Charles Harley. Additional losses hit a hay drying barn near Reich's Ford Road Gaithersburg and a Rockville barn, with damages reaching $15,000 for the last. Fire crews reported no immediate cause and treated injured or burned individuals.
