Germantown man killed in plane crash
James Kennedy of Germantown was among five killed when an Atlantic Southeast Airlines commuter plane with engine trouble crashed into a Georgia hayfield near Carrollton. Aamsville resident Michael Hendrix remains in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital after the crash. six Marylanders survived, including John Tweedy of Gaithersburg. Kennedy, in his 60s, was known for his energy and love of basketball, neighbors recalled.
