Two Fredericksonians Sentenced in Night Court
Frederickson residents with police records received stiff jail terms at Peoples Night Court on Friday. Russell W. Zimmerman claimed 128 West Patrick Street as his address and was jailed 60 days after failing to pay a $100 fine for loitering in the Jungle area behind East All Saints Street. He said he had been unloading coal and grain after release from the House of Correction in June and expected steady paving work starting Monday, but investigators could not verify any such employment with a paving firm. The magistrate Wilbur F. Sheffield Jr. warned of additional prison time if Zimmerman's sworn statements prove false.
