Heads of Deaf Schools to Meet in October
The biennial convention of superintendents and principals of Schools for the Deaf in the United States and Canada will be at the Maryland State School for the Deaf in this city from October 25 to 28. Spanish pistol plant to divert attention in Hall case
Somerville N J Aug 21 AP Special Prosecutor Simpson said a Spanish pistol given to investigators by a Philadelphia chauffeur was a plant to divert attention in the murder of Rev Edward Wheeler Hall and Mrs Eleanor Millis. He said the man who planted it is identified with a detective agency and will face arrest for obstructing justice. A detective reported the weapon came from two men and a woman who discussed the four year old murder. The trysting couple were killed with .22 caliber bullets.
