Business owner Mark Mead appeals a July 28 decision of the Frederick city Board of Zoning Appeals that denied permission to add to Ken's Transmissions at 371 W Patrick St after 23 years in operation. The BZA, by 3-2 vote, ruled that expanding a non conforming use is not allowed. The appeal seeks to relocate a storage area and machine shop and add a bay door.
