Rotorex workers vow to continue picketing
WALKERSVILLE Up to 440 IUE union members picketed Rotorex alleging the firm locked them out to ship jobs overseas. They protested at the gates amid ongoing contract talks with IVE Local 133 led by Jesse Williams who said a 30 day extension was offered while workers were paid. Rotorex makes room air conditioner compressors and the contract expired Sunday. Company spokesmen in Liberty Corner NJ denied the charges and said a mediator indicates Rotorex is ready to negotiate.
