Stereo firm must make full refunds on unfair sales
The Federal Trade Commission accepted a consent agreement with Stereo Equipment Sales of Timonium Maryland prohibiting unfair mail order practices. The firm must refund shipping overpayments and any orders not shipped within ads time or 30 days if unspecified, disclose shipping weights, and not claim wholesale pricing unless many sales are at wholesale to retailers. Similar agreements were taken with Dixie Hi F Fidelity and Wards Co Inc.
