Sentence Is Cut In Half In Maryland Court
Magistrate Wilbur F Sheffield Jr halves a three year sentence for Willie Osburn Hoskins to 38 months in the Maryland House of Correction after Hoskins admitted an FBI record error. Hoskins had knifed Dorothy Orme at their shared Frederick address. she required 28 stitches and hospital care. The case highlights Hoskins prior nine year term for murder and later assault occurrences. Judges contended the record might misstate prior activity and granted cautious leniency. Also noted were other local court actions including intoxication sentencing and a tractor collision-related case. The day featured the Kings Burdettes Watkins and Woodsboro individuals in various unrelated matters.

A Foreign Office spokesman said the region’s definition excludes Formosa and denied a U.S. request for a defense commitment.
