Rowing in Circles Off Chesapeake Bay in Heat
Two Frederick fishermen and News-Post photographer Robert Winger and William M. Brish spent about an hour unable to move their boat on Chesapeake Bay near Dave's Beach. They had anchored a quarter mile out, forgot to raise the anchor, and only after a passing boater did they learn the anchor dragged bottom. The odd drift ended with no progress and some speculation about the heat fish or the Corrigan influence.
