Braddock Heights Water Company hearing on charter status
About 15 residents attended a Maryland Public Service Commission hearing on Braddock Heights Water Company Inc to decide if the charter should be revoked. Chief examiner Ray Bourland heard two hours of testimony, with talks on rates, system repairs, water quality, and ownership concerns including a landowner bankruptcy and missing withdrawal permits. Residents and officials debated rate hikes, state agency takeovers, and priority for the nursing home customer.
