Elizabeths Delight Bank seeks new builder for Poolesville project
The Providence Federal Savings and Loan of Vienna bought Elizabeths Delight at foreclosure and will continue work. About 27 lots with three houses in progress and 24 empty lots remain. The bank plans to complete streets curbs gutters and storm drains and keep the project bonded until town acceptance. Foreclosure followed a market downturn with defaults. Kenneth Allen and Co of Rockville reached an amicable agreement. A sales tape promotes 42 four bed two and a half bath colonials starting at 269,900 with eight homes occupied and several lots finished or under construction across Haller Avenue Haller Court Hickman Street Hickman Way and Md 109.
