Frederick Leaders Move to Bond Fund Jobs Pathway Bridge
Frederick city and Frederick County will bond funding for a $4 million bridge linking Gas House Pike and Trading Lane to accelerate the Jobs Pathway project. The plan uses a tax increment financing model with a contract exposing Rosenstock Farm owners to cover any shortfall, aiming to lure CSR HydroConduit’s relocation and bypass financing without state funds. The arrangement doubles as a public private partnership with a performance agreement to secure infrastructure before the company moves in.
