Minister Larman Sherwood inspires Rotarians with life credo
Rotarians heard Rev. Larman Sherwood, blind since birth, give a luminous talk titled "As I See It" about happiness, humor, and the will to act. He recounted his path from Maryland School for the Blind to Union College and NYS College for Teachers, travels 50,000 miles yearly, and his belief that character is shown in hands and actions, not appearances. He urged doing as much as possible oneself while asking for help when needed, and shared anecdotes of sports, music, and resilience. Also noted are details of visiting Rotarians and the All Breed Polst show announcement for September 12 at Hagerstown Fairgrounds.
