Frederick unveils 250th anniversary logo and events
Frederick officials introduced a half circle American flag logo with the motto So proudly we hail for the 250th anniversary. Designers Richard Markey and Jim Ochs of Oak Leaf Communications led the concept while Elizabeth Gura and Janice Gary coordinated next year’s events. A volunteer meeting is invited for Sept 9 at City Hall. TransIT detours on Blue and Red bus routes begin today due to West Patrick Street construction.
