Mayoral candidates address Frederick City FOP members
The Fraternal Order of Police met at the American Legion to hear mayoral candidates Ronald N. Young and Paul L. Crum. Young stated he spoke in a 7 to 6 pm slot and answered questions, while Crum spoke earlier. turnout was small and no outcome or endorsements were detailed. Additionally, the Frederick County Day Care Mothers Association plans a meeting August 12 in the Frances Scott Key Mall Community Room to elect officers and draft bylaws. About 45 city police officers are eligible to vote, with 21 county officers ineligible for city elections.
