Descendants of Brandenburgs Hold Fifth Annual Reunion
Twenty years ago the descendants of William and Rohann Brandenburg gathered at Wolfsville picnic grove for the fifth annual reunion with a record attendance of 101. Emroy presided as the meeting opened after lunch. the Wamsville Woman's Society of Christian Service met in Parish Hall with 13 members, called to order by vice president Mrs. Irving DeGrange. A directive from the Post Office noted that sending dead fish through the mail is not accepted, not as a gag but to replace deceased fish. The 00 to 500 H Club will meet at Paul G. Gelsbert’s farm near Urbana for the annual campfire, while Older Youth committee members planned the affair at Miss Janet Hobbs’s West Third Street home.
