Navy Sea Chanters to Appear Sunday at River Festival
The U S Navy Band Sea Chanters join the Navy Band for a Sunday concert at Brunswick High School Auditorium at 7 45 p m as the River Festival finale. The annual Brunswick Potomac River Festival, begun in 1969, runs Aug 12 to Aug 16, with this show marking its fourth consecutive year as finale. The Sea Chanters, formed in 1959, perform sacred and secular choral works in varied uniforms to honor sea chanties and Navy history. Admission is free to the public.
