Miscellaneous Metals Inc won the county bid for a 99 acre Md 85 tract at McKinney Industrial Park, over MIE Properties which bid higher. The Frederick County Commissioners noted the decision balances cash needs with development potential. If approved, Miscellaneous Metals would relocate from Industry Lane to a 100,000 square foot facility with rail access, adding 25 to 30 workers, amid 14 year county presence and 127 current employees.
