Monorail proposal links Camden Yards to Inner Harbor
VSL Corp affiliated with Bouygues of France offers to build and operate a 3700 foot monorail from the Orioles stadium to the Inner Harbor with a 90 second ride. The $17 million line would allow parking at the stadium lot and include a 25 cent fare. The state would gain roughly 70 to 30 million over 25 years before ownership passes to the state.
