Stockholders Ordered to Pay in Central Trust Decree
Fifty seven stockholders of the defa ult Central Trust Company were ordered Thursday to pay more than 23,000 in statutory liability in a decree signed by Chief Justice Hammond Umer. The decree, begun April 10 by State Banking Commissioner John J. Qhingher, follows earlier decrees against dozens of stockholders in related suits. Interest from 1933 and costs must be paid, raising the total well above the liability figure of 25,641.81. Names and amounts for numerous stockholders are listed, with many paying from 1933 dates and later, as courts continue to pursue broader collection efforts.
